I know there was already a reminder posted but I was just on another site and saw someone arguing that it opened Saturday 25th and included a copy of the regs (which say it opens the 27th, lol).

Maybe the MNR should only be releasing the turkey regs one year at a time (sadly).

Have a feeling there is going to be a lot of hunters out Saturday morning.

I bet there will be ,it is a shame the MNR does not have a paper copy of the regs ready for the people that come in and pay hard earned cash for the tags to hunt in Ontario ,we pay sir charges and way to much for tags as it is and thy say there is no money for a paper copy ,,the Ontario MNR should be ashamed of the way there are handling the whole of Ontario its hunters and game .soon my kids will not be able to hunt moose or go to a deer camp in the near north ,,The whole thing is a disaster waiting to collapse ,Dutch

Here's hoping the CO's will be out in full force with zero tolerance for the irresponsible "hunters" out there. Sad thing is I believe there will be more guys out there seeking an edge for their turkey encounter thinking I'll just plead ignorance blaming the confusing regulations the problem. Me thinks if you can't figure out there regulations your license needs to be pulled until you can prove you are literate.

Hope the MNR is out in full force filling out papers for anyone who couldn't figure this out on their own, or by asking for help.

People need to be taking responsibility for themselves, rather than having excuses made by/for them.

There are so many ways to figure this out, whether you have electronic technology available to you or not, that there just simply is no excuse for legitimately getting it wrong.

Heck it's even in last years regs!

I too like a hard copy of the regulations however in this day and age its the exception now not the rule. If your on the computer you have access too the regulations. Tags are a online process so are the regulations. Heck the other day they announced that even the blue pages will no longer be available in print as most look up the numbers on line now.

I was surprised it wasn't printed on the front of the Turkey license....it has the "Valid" closing date but not the start date.

( at least not the one I got at Service Ont)
