Default Muck boots? and heated hoodie?

Well I am prob not alone but def getting sick of having cold feet while on stand.....I have bought a fews pairs of boots in the last few yrs but have not had good luck with any of them....bought some rocky boots last yr on sale at CT said they are waterproof....but def are not. I have bought some kamik insulated rubber hunting boots...but find them way too clunky and not warm at all.

So this yr I am looking into getting some Muck boots I have some buddie sthat own them and love them....say they are the warmest and dryest boots they have used. Anyone on here chime in whether they would agree.

I am looking at getting whatever their warmest line is either the woody elite series or the arctic sport. I am looking for a boot I can wear for all hunting conditions and seasons and I live the neoprene fit and waterproof design. I have tried my buddies on and they certainly seem comfortable enough.

also wondering if anyone owns or has experience with the milwaukee or any other brand heated hoodie and how they work and if they are worht the money. I have a sitka fanatic jacket that I love....but aside from picking up some wool garments curious if the heated hoodies are any good for keeping you warm.

and YES!!! I am a wuss when it comes to the cold.

    thanks

For Muck Boots, I like the pair I got from TSC Store, they are called Chore model, thicker rubber soles and the neoprene is heavier I believe, they only come in black. They are very comfortable and warm and come at a good price $89.00 when on sale at TSC.

Muck Chore and my son acquired my 1st pair and we never leave home without them. A little to warm while crappie fishing on the weekend though. We wear them year round in all fishing and hunting conditions and the only thing we do different is the weight of our socks. Buy your boots a little larger than you wear to accommodate the different thickness socks and you'll have warm feet.

I have a pair of arctic pro's. They are really comfy and pretty warm. I wear them in the stand until the first of December then I change to a warmer boot.

I dont think you'll be able to find a boots that do it all, warm boots comes with bulky.
If you have to walk with warm boots to your stand you will sweat and you'll get cold later on. Personally, I had cold feet all my life because my feet sweat really quickly so I just suck it up! I have been using Baffin for five year now, there are rubber so waterproof, not too bulky and keep me warm enough even wet. Maybe you should bring an extra pair of socks and replace them while at the stand, won't be scent free so better work with the wind!
