Default A series of fortunate events!

Last couple weeks I've been in a mad rush to find a spot for Turkey this spring, as i lost access to my spot from last year. Long story short - the owner is logging the bush. Was out door knocking yesterday, met some great neighbors, but no dice.

Out of no where this morning I'm approached by a co-worker who had heard through the grapevine i was looking. Just got offered two properties, both with healthy amounts of Turkey seen last night.

Going out this evening with the binoculars. Let the fun begin!
Fewww! That was a close one!

Got out tonight at 7 with the binoculars. About a dozen birds. Couldn't spot any obvious toms from my vantage point, but didn't want to get too close and shake up their routine. Where there are hens, there will be toms.
