Swimming your biatch during heat cycle?
Is it ok? I've read both yes and no but it seems that more people do swim their dogs while in heat without issue. My breeder told me I shouldn't, but I'm questioning that now.
I'll be on vacation and there's a good chance my girl will be in season during this time, and it would be a shame if I had to keep her out of the water.

Has too much time on their hands
Never heard of that before and have always let my females swim while in heat.

It's okay. It is hormonal changes that cause pyrometra NOT anything else.

Sharon and YD, I appreciate your replies. I won't worry about it then.
