2015 Mars Corporate Tournament

I had the opportunity to guide a pair of employees from Mars Canada in Huntsville this past Tues. With limited time on the water and a nasty cold front persisting we set out seeking that one big fish we needed as this was a big fish event. We worked Jerk baits and dragged the bottom with a swim bait over deeper weed beds of 10-12fow. Many firsts that day including Wayne's first pike or fish rather on a jerk bait. After learning this new technique Wayne has a new favourite bait. All said and done my team of Steve and Wayne took the title and won this year's event with a 10.25lb Pike. All fish were safely released to swim another day.

Wayne's 1st Jerk bait Fish! notice the piece of gill broken on this fish, you can tell by the colour this fish was deep hooked days earlier and returned to dine again.
