Antlerless Draw
I tried looking, maybe not hard enough, but where do I find the table that shows how many antler-less tags are available per WMU for 2015? Has this even been released yet?

I don't think it has been released yet, plus they have changed the website since last year. Hopefully they will make it available this year.

Yeah, I figured that might be the case. I'm going to wait for it before I enter the draw then.
Thanks for the response.

All I can find is the info on Pg.76 of the new regulations posted at www.ontario.ca/hunting by checking the tables under Anterless Deer tags. Hope this helps.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Those are last years results which probably gives me enough information, but two years ago I bought an extra tag in 46 and last year it dropped from 2000 to 500. I guess they got hit hard.

2 years ago in 49 they had 100% draw on doe tags and sold surplus tags. Now I would expect between 15-20% success on doe tags. Our area was decimated. Saw 5 wolves ( shot 1) and never saw a deer all week. We haven't been skunked at our camp in 20 years. Our neighboring camps were all skunked in 2014.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

A guy I work with has a neighbour who found dozens of winter kill deer on his land after 2014. He said most of them were found in groups. Sad to hear.

I hunt 46 and last year they were hit hard. We only saw 2 deer when we normally see about a dozen or so. I suspect this fall will be the same with last winters brutal conditions.

This past winter in Parry Sound District was not that bad. It was an average winter at worst. We had a green Christmas (you could see my lawn) and snow depth wasnt much (around 65-70cm). I personally checked snow depths across the district several times. The only "bad" part was the cold snap in February. It was unusually cold.
Im not really concerned about this past winter. It wouldnt have knocked the deer down anymore then average.
