That was a fun day boys .. nice to see some old faces and new ones too ... the scenery was beautiful, it was a great spot for our little tourney.. good launch, parking and a nice spot for the fish fry afterwards...Thanks for organizing it Aaron ..congrats to the winners.. CujoFann and Old Has Been..thanks for cooking up the fish and chips Rob .. and thank you for the fuel Jay .. it was enough to get me to the gas station to fill up the truck ! We made it home safely ..looking forward to the next time .. Cheers..

Thanks frenchie. It was definitely a good day. Tough Fishing for sure. That area is my favorite place in the province. Holds some really good memories. Thanks everyone for coming out. Nice to meet you rugger and islandjay

Sounds like you all had a good time!!

Wish I could have made it but leaving for Okeechobee on Thursday

Cujo, thanks for organizing the day, it was great to meet everyone and a fun and tasty BBQ and fishfry afterwards! I found that the secret to catching fish on that tough day was having an Island Jay in the boat. That's what all of our fish were caught on lol.

lol normally the pike up there are tough to catch. once the water warms they hit the depths and eat walleye and perch. because its a river and there is constantly a flow and the water warms a lot quicker then the lakes I think everything happens sooner and it makes spring fishing tough. they aren't where you think they are that's for sure. it was a good day and maybe now we'll start planning for a bass tournament. or a few of them
