Can a CFO enter a business to look for a gun if the business is keeping the gun against the owners will?

Generally, a firearms officer can conduct inspections of a business where Firearms Act provisions apply,(selling etc., firearms and ammunition etc.). Searches can also be conducted. However, if the purpose of a search is to further an investigation with respect to a theft, or possession of property obtained by crime, in other words an offence other than Firearms Act related offences, then a warrant to search is required. In this case, any police officer can conduct the search. It doesn't have to be a Firearms Officer. I think I know what you are getting at, and I doubt any firearms officer would conduct a business inspection for your purpose.
