    2213 Bias Caliber vs Location

    Hey OOD Folks,

So Ive gotten conflicting answers from people in regards to using my 30-06 north or south of Orillia. Some say its no "hunting" with a 30-06 south of Orillia, other say no "firing" of a 30-06 south of Orillia.

    Question is:
Im in WMU 77B, can I sight in or target shoot my 30-06 on my own country property legally? No hunting of course, just targeting/sighting.

    Cheers.

You are good to go unless your specific township has a bylaw saying you aren't.

    What he said ^^^^
Not all municipalities have the same discharge bylaws. Check before you shoot. But don't expect too much collaboration and possibly police MNR harassment.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Yeah, lots of by-laws include slingshots too.
