Hello All...new here hope to contribute
Hi Everyone, my name is Mike and after buying fly fishing equipment over the years and never having time to fly fish I have now decided its now or never. That means my children are old enough now for me do what I have wanted to get into for a long time.....Fly Fish.
Caught my first Brown trout this spring....every fish I have caught this spring has been on a fly I ties which is awesome considering I am a brutal beginner tier.
Hope to learn plenty and contribute when I can.
Loving the Fly Fishing.....

Welcome to the forum..
I've always wanted to try fly fishing, seems to best way to enjoy the peace and solitude on the river.

Has too much time on their hands
Welcome to the Forum! Looking forward to hear (and see) more of your fly fishing trips.
I hope to get my 7 wt out this afternoon to catch some rock bass and sunfish.

Just curious, why would you use a 7wt to catch panfish?

The 7wt is all I have. I keep hinting to my family that I'd really like to get a 4 wt for a birthday/Father's Day/Christmas present but so far no luck.
It's still fun to catch them on the 7wt and as I occasionally tie into a big bass or pike - I'm prepared.
