    Default Canadian Gun Dog Supply

Has anyone bought anything from these guys recently? My girlfriend recently purchased new collars for our guys (23 days ago) and we still have not received them. She spoke to them after about two weeks and was told the collars will be next shipment out but we still had not received anything. This week she has called and emailed again and no answer at all.

Any one know if they have shut down?

I've never had any problems there. Not sure what is happening with your order. It is my understanding that they are under new ownership.

Thanks for the replies all. Still have not heard anything back from these guys. We were looking for biothane ring collars with info plates on them.

I'd much rather order from someone in Canada than from LCS or anyone in the States, for the simple reason that it's a small market up here and without support the local guys will disappear.

As for Canadian Gun Dog Supply, I ordered stuff from them with no issues, but that was several years back. Given that anyone doing this is essentially a one-man show, if they've changed "ownership" then all bets are off.

I actually bought my Dogtra 2500 T&B off them and he even delivered it personally. He met me on the 400hwy one day as he was passing through. I was Also going to buy my Garmin Astro off him but he ended up having to cancel the sale due to legislation but found his prices very competitive. Then again this was almost 4 years ago and if it has changed ownership??????

I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

I agree, but I had difficulty finding the stuff I need, in fact I started to make my own leashes using Horse tack and old school braiding. Now if I need stuff I can not make/repair then I go to a good saddle maker but the question was for biothane not leather so I did not think of that at the time. Here is a link to making your own leashes if anyone is interested:

Hopefully the new owners will be able to touch base with you and sort things out.
