If you had to choose
between Tom Mulcair or Justin Trudeau? Which would you pick? At this point it is looking quite possible that Harper has gone passed his best before date. 2/3 of Canadians want change so the odds of him being able to pull off a majority win are pretty low. I think the most likely outcome is a minority at best and then he will be taken out at the first confidence vote. So, if you had to pick between the other 2 which would it be? I think Mulcair is as greasy as a politician gets and is a team jumper already. But I also consider him to be quite intelligent ( even if I disagree on many of his beliefs). Trudeau has steadily lost ground once the initial honeymoon period was over. People loved the man until he started speaking. He is proving to be nothing but a good looking, well connected spokesman. Mulcair is sharp as a knife and virtually never loses an argument. I think he will leave JT a quivering, trembling mess in the debates. My problem with Mulcair is the NDP record. Take for example Premier Notley in Alberta. She appointed as the chief of staff for the Natural Resources ministry a Toronto anti oil sands activist. In fact she hired a bunch of activists who aren't even Albertans! Will Mulcair slant policy to be destructive to the oil sands and the massive economic benefit Canadians get from it? In the end Trudeau isn't the guy who makes up policy. He isn't bright enough so you would be voting for his handlers really, he's never going to be any more than a storefront. Not sure who I would choose between these two choices?

I'd go with Mulcair way ahead of Trudeau. If Mulcair were PM, he's got the smarts to bend to the center to do what it takes to hold onto power and would likely provide a reasonable centrist government.
Trudeau is an idiot. If his last name wasn't "Trudeau" he'd still be an unknown drama teacher. No telling what stupidity we'd be up to, particularly when Ontario is also being governed by idiots.

Mulcair by a country mile. Trudeau keeps falling in the party polls like rock. People are slowly seeing through his ineptitude and he's beginning to look more like a Michael Ignatieff type every day. When we get down to the wire, though, after Canadians have examined NDP party policies,I think they'll be afraid, very afraid of ultra left wing politics, dogma and party policies. My prediction is a an razor thin Conservative majority.

That is not funny.
How about this one "Would you like to be shot in the right or left side of your head, when we kill you?"
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

Mulcair. Only because I have an idea of some of the people that JT has surrounded himself with and am not impressed. Even with the Harper government we have always heard rumblings about the (non-elected) power in the PMO. My point? Trudeau is a lightweight and seems easily manipulated, Mulcair does not come across as someone easy to bullshyte.

I would choose Mulcair. The thought of Trudough representing us on the world stage scares me. The day after a JT win the Russians and Chinese will be setting up oil rigs in our Arctic territory. Can you imagine JT at a G7 meeting?

Iggy and Dion were both stars in comparison to JT.

Werner, I would agree with you 100 percent on this one. Could we have a third choice? Maybe a billy goat or a pig!! Either might get more votes than Truedope lmao.
