Either way Welsh, this latest bill in the senate pretty much show the Liberals goal is to begin banning as many guns as possible if they win power. My point is this has long been the goal of the Liberals. Which is what I have shown.

Actually, no. This bill in the Senate is just a bill in the Senate. What it actually may mean is a question of interpretation. We don't know if it is a trial balloon or just something out of left field. For the reasons I already gave, I've discarded the idea it was a trial balloon and think it is out of left field ... if it is a trial balloon, it has flopped, because it has failed to excite the interest of gun-control supporters even when they have been asked, in public, to take note of it.

You haven't shown this is the goal of the Liberals. All we ever get are the same recycled quotations, without context, some of them not even complete sentences, originating from people who have since retired from politics. This doesn't prove, or even credibly suggest, the existence of a master plan to slowly confiscate all firearms. Indeed, I have second-hand reports that half the Rock quote is missing -- the half where he says that he had changed his mind.

I'd like to see some respect for evidence here.

Terry Unless Harper gets a majority were sunk. Although this is just a gut instinct. If Harper gets a minority Muclair and Justin will form a coalition. I don't think Justin will get either, to be honest I'm more worried about Muclair and I trust both about as far as I can throw my lawn tractor (yeah I was just mowing the lawn).

Harper has been in for 3 mandates. That's about the shelf life for PM's. Mulcair is 10x brighter, hell 100x probably than JT. He will eat him alive in the debates and JT's support has trended down for months. I mean think about it. ALBERTA now has an NDP government. A government that is about to kick the oil industry in the nuts with increased carbon taxes and royalties. The chief of staff of the energy minister is an anti-oilsands activist/lobbyist. Quebec will never vote PC nor will the Maritimes. Ontario has proven itself to have imbeciles as voters. How else would you describe giving Liberals who turn everything they touch to poop a majority? Dump, no, BUT I've been looking into how to give/sell/donate whatever a couple firearms of my grandfather and dad to my cousin in the US. If you have a bunch of semi's (or maybe even pumps or after the attack in Ottawa levers) it might be time to talk to look into a gun store in the US about buying from you or trades. It looks like for several firearms using a gunstore to help with the paper work and ship to that is the best solution. I am wondering if Colt is thinking of coming out with a bolt action version using the AR template, they just got permission to sell the semi and now it looks like Canada is thinking of economic, social ... and I guess yes intellectual jumping off a cliff.
