THermacell Refills
Where does everyone get their Thermacell refill packs? The only place I could find them in my area was CTC and they had the small refill pack. What I'd really like to find is a reasonable price for the butane cartridges. Any thoughts?

Don't quote me but somewhere I heard that the butane powered hair curlers have the same cartridge. They can be found at CTC, WMart, etc.

A buddy of mine figured out how to recharge the butane cylinders. I don't know how yet.
Princess Auto usually has the best price on the large refill packs. Regularly $29.99, on sale for $24.99.
Amazon.ca sold them last yr for 17.99 + 3.50 shipping.

just need some butane, too.
kids and visitors switch those damn things on all the time, forget and walk away - resulting in an empty cartridge, one burnt out pad and a stack of fresh ones (but no butane left to use them)

There's a YouTube video on refilling the canisters. Looks pretty simple..

I have filled a couple a few years ago and was successful. Tried to fill some for a friend a few weeks ago and couldn't get them to take the butane for some reason. Wondering if they have changed the valves?

I purchased the refill canisters because I have access to lots of butane at work. It's so easy to fill, I even have my parents doing it!
