back-country camping + fly fishing near Peterborough?

Hi everyone,

I live in Selwyn near Peterborough and looking for a spot to do some back-country camping near a river or lake where I can fly-fish. I can easily get to North Kawartha, Otonabee, Cavan-Monaghan.

Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

Go the extra little bit to Algonquin if you want to catch trout on the fly.

Lot of brown trout streams around Cavan....don't need to go to Algonquin necessarily. cut my teeth on browns since I was 8yrs old in Cavan; have a look around and good luck!
