Because there's a lot more to a satisfactory life than owning guns? Or... at least there should be.

Until the neverending BS, scandals, lies and ineptitude that came with McGuinty... i was a Liberal. If they could pull a competent, viable leadership group out of a hat sometime in the future... i may be again.

    To each their own....

A substantial amount of my life is reserved for guns weather it be for hunting or sporting. If any gov't were to take that away from me they would not get my vote regardless of what the party name is....

Electricity rates, carbon taxes from Ontario .... and Federal if NDuhP and LIEbrals win... the title says it all

Skyrocketing electricity rates may force one in 20 Ontario businesses to close
    http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/...ticle25348882/

"According to the report, energy demand in the province dropped 8 per cent between 2003 and 2014 – but generation capacity has increased by 13 per cent. This means that Ontario has a huge surplus and so it gives away electricity. These costs of producing electricity and then basically exporting it for free are passed on to customers."

    in the mean time...

Hmm..... is that the sound of an evil banker laughing ..... nah.... sounds rasp and evil.... also female and more like cackling

Listening close I hear someone muttering..saying .... bankruptcies... loses.... forclosures... more loses.... sell head offices to move out .... more loss.... that sounds like it might be the banker. Now he's crying ... "stock options, stock price... investments".... that's what started him crying.

Add in the rising hydro, carbon tax, pension plan, and whatever other taxes they dream up and it doesn't take a Phd in Economics to see what the future has for business in Ontario. People don't care about stuff like that though. They just don't. there must be something in that Starbucks coffee that destroys brain cells.

    Interesting.....

    http://business.financialpost.com/ne...ate-rises-to-7

Ontario 6.8 (6.4) * Unemployment went up .4% in Ontario

Overall public sector employment gained 27,200 for the month, while the private sector gained 6,300 jobs.

    Three comments....

    1) Ontario going down... to be expected given the current Liberal gov't

    2) Why so much added to the Public sector?

    3) Interesting that the unemployment rates have been going down according to the graph,
An interesting graph when I wanted to look further back in History.... when a Liberals were last in power unemployment was over 10%
    http://studymagazine.com/wp-content/...yment-rate.jpg

Almost 12% when a Trudeau was list in power

    Interesting...

Liberals unilaterally appoint Omsbudsman even though he is supposed to legally be agreed upon by the other parties... ah... Liberals in power (reminder (want a dictatorship - Pierre Trudeau, admire dictatorship - Justin Trudeau, ..)

"the Liberals used a clause in the act to unilaterally appoint Finlay to the post"
