burwell perch today

I took dad down to burwell this morning and made the 40 minute run down to hastings ,fish in 50 feet of water with pickerel rigs and .5 oz weight right on the bottom with two minnows and we got a nice cooler full of jumbos lots of 13 inch perch ,,the lake was flat and I was a good run ,,what can I say hard to beat a morning of fishing and a cooler full of jumbo 13 inch perch ,,,Dutch

Where is Hastings on the map? I hear it talked about, but can't find it on Google maps?

Was out at Bruce Friday late morning, beautiful calm, no bites for perch in and depth 25-45.

Was like shooting ducks in a barrel last year, been out twice this year and next to nothing... same setup with minnows and pickerel rig. What am i doing wrong? ?

hastings is east of burwell towards long point just past clear creek .just follow the shore east from burwell till you got to long point ,Dutch
