If the flag was to be removed it should have been done the right way - have the people of SC vote if they want to remove it - not have some out of state girl climb the flag pole and take it down - and then have the liberal northern media jump all over the issue - "removing the flag ..... is not a act of political correctness" - the hell it ain't - this so-called prominent American sounds like some politician wanting national recognition - I wonder what they are going to remove next - aah - I got it - the men's room - it gotta go - it symbolizes male superiority and the last hold out against a wave of political correctness - don't say I didn't warn you -

History marches on. A great symbolic gesture---an olive branch of sorts.

Did y'all see this? He's going to paint over the General Lee. What an idiot!
Bubba Watson’s General Lee (also known as the 1969 Dodge Charger driven by the Duke brothers in the 1980s TV show The Dukes of Hazzard) will no longer have a Confederate flag on top.
Watson, who was born in Florida and attended the University of Georgia, paid $110,000 for the General Lee at an auction in 2012. In January, he got the car autographed by John Schneider, the actor who played Bo Duke.

So,today, the battle Flag has come down from the short memorial flagpole on the grounds of the state capitol. The pressure, now,is being concentrated on The State of Mississippi to completely change their state flag which has the battle flag in the top left corner. When will this stuff stop. This nothing but political correctness run completely amok.

Now that the flagpole is empty why don't they take that little prick who shot those people and run him up there instead?
