Another Bass Derby - Dave's Giant Smallmouth

Dave and I saddled up the old green machine for another bass derby down near Kingston on a local back lake. After a tough morning of fishing Dave managed to claim second place. The more interesting story is the 5lb 13oz smallmouth bass he caught to give him that win. What a beast! What's even more shocking is that it was caught on a lake that isn't known for having smallmouth!

Yup! the little guy was born on July 2. Mom and baby are healthy. Now the long wait until I can take him fishing.....
