Port Stanley Perch
Anyone on here fish the port stanley area for perch? Will be visiting my inlaws in London next week and I'm thinking about trying for perch if they are in close to shore. I actually haven't ever fished for perch. Anywhere I can get reports?

I don't know about Pt.Stanley but you can get decent perch fishing over at Pt.Bruce which is close to London as well. Fishing from a boat is best, the perch are being caught at around 35 feet right now. Now if you don't have a boat you can try fishing off the pier. Emerald shiner minnows work the best.

I have a boat but it's small and waves would need to be around 1 foot or less. Also no where to park at my inlaws. I'll pay for gas and bait and any other expenses if anyone wants to take my Son and I out.

you dont need a boat, they are starting to get perch off all the area piers with minnows. Try Glasgow, bruce or port stanley. They all have minnows available. Port Glasgow sells them right at the ramp beside the piers. Google Stomps Long Point page and there are reports on the 6-8 message board. Another site is Bass haven they have reports for glasgow, rondeau and lake st.clair.

Anyone have a recent update? We are leaving tomorrow and I'm trying to decide if I'm taking my stuff or not.
