I have a question for you. You live on the edge of town , in a residential community , with many houses ,have kids who play in the Front yard, with no fences. Would you want people driving 20 yards from your Front door, just asking. Sometimes you need to look at things from a common sense point of view.

Thought I'd change your question to reflect real issues on edge of town subdivisions.
The answer is, watch your own daaam children.
Stop using paranoia to justify further restrictions and excusing yourself from teaching your kids respect and responsibility.

What you said changes everything in my question they were in their own backyard not to many cars end up their. If you do not feel safe in your own back yard where should the kids play, in the street? What you said has no relation to my question.

For the record Mikepal, Sunday was a day of rest not a day of quiet. You could always target practice on Sundays, just not hunt.

Let the voters in Port Hope decide the issue, it is nobody's bussiness but the taxpayers there to decide what happens in their community.
