Once again the Long Point Waterfowlers are holding a youth hunt on the new Youth Heritage Day the weekend before the regular souther zone opener. Friday evening the young hunters will recieve training from hunting and waterfowl experts and the next morning get to experience a half day hunt in one of North America's most legendary and productive marshes. If requested a guide and equipment will be provided by volunteers from the LPWA.

My son participated in this hunt last year and it was an awesome experience. Everyone involved did their best to ensure that the kids had a great time. If you have a young hunter I would recommend applying.
