Well that cost money, and the simple hard fact of the matter is that these days no Liberal (Federal and certainly not here in Ontario) seems to understand is that the

better off, the middle class and private is the more "money" there is for governance and programs and "ps" etc. The dog (private, economy) wags the tail. Not the other way around.
Dear God JBen... you're not suggesting that if the economy is properly managed/stimulated then "the budget will balance itself" Are you....

    Sorry couldn't resist lol

Oh so you were just trolling, and intentionally trying to stir the pot, which we all know
    A) can derail threads, lead to flames etc.
    B) Explicitly against forum Rules

Not sure thats the smartest thing to openly admit given B and at least we all know now your just a troll and not to be taken seriously.

Ironic given you were quasi questioning peoples intelligence and ability to recognize nuances and subtleties earlier.

Im mostly "centrist" with an emphasis on fiscal responsibility. Social programs, good PS, etc it cost $$, lots of it. If we want caviar well we need to take of the $ and economy first..Just my rudimentary description of my political leanings..

It drives me nuts that some can't seem to see or grasp what it's costing people, real people. Or take G (FM) latest.Yeah Gord, vote buying is a long history.

Name me one party, federal or provincial that has driven things into the ground in the process.
Name me one party who did so during a severe economic downturn.
Name me one party with as many scandals or brainfarts (GEA) also adding to it?
    Just one G in 100 years….

Its one thing to say throw money at Quebec buying votes there when times are good. Its quite another when times are tough and the peons paying your Pension are getting laid off in droves, or seeing 1.5% (if anything) and they are throwing 13.5% at the OPP, obscene payouts just two weeks ago for Hydro One, Teachers and more buying their Unions for their political clout and support.
    blah blah blah blah.

Maybe when you care about more than just yourself or the GTA, you'll see what these years of Liberal Rule have done, are doing. And whats coming. You'll care about all the downgrades and what they mean.
You'll care about companies folding, or refusing to come here (many well publicized)

Maybe you might even think about many people ending up in your old place of employment because
Hyrdo is exploding as are taxes and fees (why is that?)
They don't have Pensions, nor enough saved (Then again when you pay more to taxes paying for everything else like vote buying, and brain farts, and everything else….than you do housing and food) trying to find a couple nickels to save..

    Just a couple statistical facts

    you might care
A rambling jumble with zero substance is not statistical or factual.

Well sooner or later history will repeat itself and great empires have come crashing down in the past. My brother in law is a trader for a major bank (securities) for close to 30 years. He has not seen anything like this with the world economy and people with that sort of attitude handling and spending our money will prove disastrous in the end. Very different economic climate today.

Doesn't matter. Conservatives or Liberals. New boss same as the old boss. It is very suprising to me that people think one party will lead the province/country to the promise land. A politician is a politician. Party name is meaningless.

It would make a difference if party leaders had morals, values ,integrity and a respect for our hard earned money to be responsible spending it wisely. Unfortunately many people are followers and do what they are told and become corrupt along the way.

But then again many people will complain and do nothing to make a difference.

Greeks eat and drink everyday on borrowed money that they feel entitled to. At some point those footing the bill will stop bankrolling them. They exist only because of other hard working people's money. Hey, wait a minute................
