    Default Point Blank Kennels

Hello, I am in the market for a hunting companion and I'm currently looking for a GSP that I can train for grouse hunting.
Does anyone have any info regarding Point Blank Kennels and more specifically the quality of their GSP dogs?

This will be my first pointer type of dog, had a coon hound prior in my earlier years but more into grouse these days so from what I an gather a GSP would be what I am looking for.

Thank you in advance for any info.

For me I would choose someone who is focused on the breed you are after.

    Hi,
My advice - find people with the breed of dog you're interested in, visit them, go hunting with them, then if the breed suits you - find trustworthy breeder and sire/dam you like, preferably engage someone's help (someone who understands dogs). Join NAVHDA chapter - there's lots of GSPs there. Go to xxx marsh in season - there's people hunting pheasants with GSPs there.
The bottom line, if you're serious about it - spend the time doing the home work.
it's not unusual to wait for the good pup for a year or two. But GPSs are plentiful both in ON and in the US.

    good luck.

jmo but I don't think we should be discussing a kennel/trainer most of us know on here publicly. I think comments should only be sent by PM.

(There are so few gun dog trainers/dog supply businesses` in ON . One bad opinion ( fact or not) could really hurt someone's business. Those who have concerns about a kennel usually don't post publicly so the asker usually only gets favourably comments which can skew the real truth about any kennel)

    PM sent Outdoorz man

Your absolutely right Sharron and they could easily use these words on the forum expressed in a court of law.
