Repel Gear and Clothing spray for tics
Saw this on the shelf at at Walmart in the US...I assume it's new, nice to see a company making a product that is specific for keeping tics of your gear etc...
I guess, because it has permethrin, it won't hit Canada shelves, but maybe because it designed for use on equipment, not for personal use, maybe they can slip it thru.

No reason it shouldn't hit the shelves. Same strength of permethrin as this
Absorbine Ultrasheild. The Ultrasheild is sold for horses and dogs and widely available in tack shops.

I was under the impression that permithrin was banned for sale as an insecticide. That's why you don't see any 'people' products with it on any shelves in Ont.
The Ontario government is set to announce sweeping new regulations that will prohibit the use of 85 chemical substances, found in roughly 250 lawn and garden products, from use on neighborhood lawns. Once approved, products containing these chemicals would be barred from sale and use for cosmetic purposes.
The 85 chemicals to be prohibited are listed under “Proposed Class 9 Pesticides” of the Act. Among the 85 pesticides banned for cosmetic use include commonly used lawn chemicals: 2,4-D (Later’s Weed-Stop Lawn Weedkiller), clopyralid, glyphosate (Roundup Lawn & Weed Control Concentrate), imidacloprid, permethrin (Later’s Multi-Purpose Yard & Garden Insect Control), pyrethrins (Raid Caterpillar & Gypsy Moth Killer), and triclopyr.

But yes you apparently can buy it for use on animals and livestock...that is why I wonder if they will be able to put this on the shelf as it's not for people, just their gear.

You can buy "Ultra Sheild" at TSC Store
I spray my boots, pant cuffs etc
They also make a "bingo dabber" that I use on things around the house/cottage that the house flys like to congregate on like the light fixtures, window frames etc.
Like you say, NOT for use on your skin.
