New Brunswick Bear Guide

I'll take any Hunter that wants big Bears, but the price is the same for every body. New Brunswick is a two bear province and our Bears are a lot bigger than Alberta ( they top out at 350-360 pounds,although the hero shots make them look a lot bigger). The record book bear came from NB and dressed out at 900 pounds and they figured it was over 1,100 live. Check though past videos I posted,their are huge Bears in my area. My 300 pounder from last year is awesome hunt video,lolI'm the only Hunter and guide in the area and my baits are 10 k/m apart along rivers. Secondary baits are closer in case the primary gets messed up. I'm only taking 6 hunters in the fall season and a max of 2 hunters/ week. Season starts September 2 and runs until October 31. The hunts are customize for the Hunter.,up close on the ground or 30 - ??? With a gun.I skin if you want a full or half mounts because the cuts are different.
I have a professional butcher that usually skin,cut and package and freezes with in a day.
Lodging for this year is in my home.
Only decided to get my guide licence a week ago but I killed a lot of Bears in the past 20 years and I always set my owe baits . I was a bear Outfitter in Northern Ontario and my partner was a thief,so I closed the business down and never did anything with my BMA. My mother got sick and I moved to NB two years ago to take care of her. Now I need to work ,Bears are all I know and love.

Correct me if I am wrong but all Non New Brunswickers require a guide when hunting big game in NB.

I never thought of hunting in NB vice Quebec....worth looking into...

All NR must use a license guide.

I see something I didn't know, if your a NR and don't want to use an outfitters tag, you have to enter a draw.

Also in NB if you were born there but no longer reside there but own land you can hunt as a resident.

I was born in NS. You would have thought my parents would have driven the 5 hrs to Moncton so I would have had that right. But oh no to lazy.

Firearm laws are very restrictive in NB as well. You cannot just go outside to your favorite pit and start target shooting you need a permit valid usually for 4 - 6 hrs. Big game guns for Deer, Moose and bear can only be transported 2 days before the season begins.
and then you have 2 days to get them back home.

I see for Big game you can now hunt on Sunday but cannot during the winter for rabbits.

Also you cannot hunt big game until the age of 18.

Must be that Quebecois influence, I knew official bilingualism was a bad idea for NB !! LOL
