    Acquired?
As in, acquired some protein. Time for a little bit of acquisition?

Only if you fly the rainbow flag....Ex-girlfriend's brother did.. It is a put down used by the girls when talking about the boys... Because they "acquire protein"...
Don't care if it catches on..we'll not be using it.

And there you have it. A neat little phrase that you'd think we could have fun with but "they" beat us to it. Now it bears the taste of contempt.
With all the political correctness crap and not wanting to offend people and feeling like we're having to tippy toe around our words this society is really starting to blow chunks.

After 8 pages, I imagine this "harvest" concept has been beaten to death. My two cents is: I go hunting and I "get" or "bag" a grouse, a duck or a turkey. I have never referred to it as a "harvest", and never will despite the MNR's use of "Harvest Report".

The only situation that I can see that may be justified using "harvest" might be when hunting over bait.

Ok hunting over bait....Yup do it for bear, deer, Raccoons, maybe even ducks, geese, coyotes, crows, squirrels, and so on.

Also what do you consider bait, a pile of corn, a feeder full of dog food, peanuts in a tree hollow, a planted field of alalfa, a E-caller and decoy, hand calls and decoys?
