x2 - while moose hunting I can shoot my limit in minutes on some days. The farther you head north, the better. I usually find them feeding on old logging roads and trails. If your walking, look up often, as you can occasionally spot them in the trees as well.
They seem to "wake up" around 8 or 9am, leaving their roost to feed.
