    If that wasn't enough powder, I'd like to know how the tree was hit perfect square behind the buck.

    Just goes to show how dangerous a ricochet can be, ground must be fairly hard right there!

    Something else he did wrong was in placing his rifle's forearm directly on the hard surface of the window frame with only his rifle sling between , the sling is not a very good pad to take up recoil.
    Hard surface against hard surface causes problems in shooting which I would think anyone with a bit of experience should know.

    Watch for the bounce, it hits below and bounces up to hit the tree behind.
