    Default Whiteman's Creek!

I'm looking to try Whiteman's Creek for the first time this week.

Does anyone know if it is worth checking out this late into the season?

    Any information would be appreciated!

check the regs for where on whiteman's creek you are fishing. If you are fishing Between Robinson Road/Apps Mill Centre and Cleaver Road only artificial lures, single barbless, and you can only keep one trout over 19.7 inches. Most of the other areas on whiteman's are private access. The CO's are usually out and actively enforcing the regs, so be sure of where you are. Which as a side point is super awesome to see!!)

Two other tips: check where you are parked…been giving out lots of tickets this summer, and bring lots of flies as snags are very common.

    Other than that enjoy!!

I ended up going today to check it out!

Water was very low as expected for this time of year. I was actually pleasantly surprised to find so many deep pools for the fish to hold. Lots (and I mean lots) of little fish <4inches - only catch of "note" was a 6-8 inch rainbow. Needless to say it wasn't much of a fight with the 5wt I had brought along with me. I will have to check it out next spring!

Thank you for the all tips
