I honestly cant imagine how broken you need to be to compare Harper with murderers of 10's of millions, and im not his biggest fan.
    Hi Grog,

People like to hyperbole to try to scare others into supporting them. It has been going on for years. Nothing really new. To me it reeks of someone who can't really stand up in a serious discussion and get their points across (kinda like a four year old calling someone a stupidhead when they get so frustrated they can't rationally speak). A lot of the time, they don't want to reason or compromise, it is either their way or the highway (which really is interesting because the left is supposed to be the inclusive, "get along" philosophy).

My situation is a bit different. While my choice for PM is Harper, I have some issues with the local person who got the nomination for the Tories. I have met him and I can't bring myself to support him.

I don't care for him either Dyth. I will likely vote for him but I wont be happy about it and to be honest I don't see him doing well here.
