I have a Redfield Revolution Accu-Range 2-7x33
One of the best scopes I've ever used, but truthfully, target shooting at 100+ yards is getting pretty hard on my eyes with the 2-7x33.

I think the 2x7 or 3x9 are good choices, the more likely the close up shots (bush shots) the 2x7 becomes the better choice....
As for scopes, I have heard good things about all of them but I like the Bushnell elite the best, mainly because they have a repair depot just N of Toronto.... unless it's changed recently there customer service is excellent...

Hey two stroke , not trying to change your mind. Personally I prefer 40 mm over 32. Better light gathering capabilities and bigger field of view. Just my personal preference and two cents worth.
Best of luck to you with whatever your choice ends up being.
Zeiss and Leopold make an excellent scope also !

Of the three I would pick the redfield and I think the 2-7 is plenty on a big game rifle for here in Ontario . The higher in magnification you go you actually lose Field of view but the difference between 7 and 9 is small but the 40mm will be a bigger and heavier scope and you may not want that on a slick lever such as the blr.
Also for a few more bucks take a look at the leupold VX2 2-7*33 I have one on my Roberts and find it a perfect fit ,also has lifetime warranty but you will never need it.

On a compact rifle like a BLR a 2x7 is as big as I would go. Of the 3 listed I would choose the Redfield ( made by Leupold same lifetime warranty) but any of those 3 would serve you well. Personally I would use a Leupold 1x4 or 1.5x5 on that BLR.

i agree with bushman I'd go with a 40mm over 32 but thats just me. If I were you I would go to a few stores and check out a few scopes, look out the window thru the scope and see what you like best, review which reticle set up you like, etc. research which ones are the best in low light, etc.
Fratri makes a good point Bushnell has great warranty and they're warranty centre is here in the GTA (Nikon is as well btw)
I had to return a Leupold scope and to ship it out West as it was fogging up from the inside, wait for them to review and send back was a pain…

Also a good choice and Terry's suggestion of the 1_4 power would be about perfect on that rifle.
