Galt sportsman club
Anyone a member at the Galt sportsman club? Is it a good club? Seems like the best bang for your buck. Any other suggestions to good clubs for rifle, shotgun and archery in the Kitchener, Cambridge area? Kid friendly as my wife and kids love to play too.

Galt is a great club! Been to a lot of clubs and none compare. Used to be a member and going to join again. Trap, skeet, 5 stand, an awesome 52 station sporting clays, indoor hand gun range and a 200 yard rifle range but there is a waiting list for the rifle range. Archery range also. They have a pond on the property that the youngsters can fish in and there are many other thing going on. It is truly a great club

To add to the above , there is also an outdoor handgun range, and I believe that you have to belong to the " fishing section " to be able to fish the pond as it costs them money to stock it .
All in all it is probably the "Premier " cub in Ontario as it has all the shooting facilities but as has been mentioned, there is a waiting list to get into the rifle section, there are however a couple of sundays in sept. and early oct. where the rifle range is open to non members to be able to sight in rifles [this is done under supervision ] and you must pay a nominal fee.
At least that is the way it has been done for many years.
