First Spruce and Grouse
IMG_0479.jpgIMG_0496.jpg
Was bow Moose hunting near Gowganda last week. Managed to take some time out to hunt grouse with my V.
Managed to get my first spruce. Felt nice to hunt grouse that weren't as skitish as the southern Ontario ones. On a side note, ran into quite a few flocks of woodcock. We saw then every morning as we were walking in at sun rise to our moose posts. Never had a change to hunt them with the dog since I didn't want to shoot up our moose hunting areas.

Woodcock and a pointer and you still hunted moose
Oh well if you don't want them send them all our way. Oh and good luck on that moose.

Nice, I had to go back and take a second look at the photos, I was admiring your dog so much that I forgot to notice the sprucey.
Make sure you have finished speaking before your audience has finished listening.
