    Default Clydesdale World Championship

If you live not too far away , and are looking for something to do with the kids, highly recommend going to this event Friday or Saturday in London, ( Agriplex Building at the Western fair).
600 draft horses from all over North America are in London - including the 8 hitch Budweiser team.
    Wonderful day!

    $15.00 per adult

I seen the Budweiser team while in Florida a few yrs ago at none other than bush gardens. WOW very impressive animals to say the least. Just stunning to see the size of these Clydesdales, I drive by a farm that has about 6 of them in pasture and they are big but the Budweiser team has them by a few ft in height

I sat beside a guy from England. I had no idea there were so many draft breeds. He had shires.

I used to take the kids every year to the Markham fall fair and what always impressed me most were the Percherons. Amazing beasts.

As a preschooler, Vic Cookson in Maple Grove had draft horses, probably Belgian Greys. Still remember walking around on their huge backs when I was 4-5.

At that event, I was amazed to hear of so many draft horse breeders in ON - lots of farms. I had no idea. The biggest seems to be Carson Farm near Listowel.

Yes - those big draft breeds are incredible animals. I go to the local fall fairs to look at them. I used to go to the Royal Fair years ago to see the best teams. Im glad you mentioned it - I'll head to the Royal this year.
