Gooderham, Irondale Kinmount Woodcock or Grouse?

I am subscribing to the 'happy wife, happy life ' adage this weekend and visiting the inlaws cottage in the Gooderham area. I d liek to sneak off a couple of hours saturday and sunday with the Pup and do what i like to do in the fall !

I did see some Crown land in the area

I d like to get into some Woodcock if there are any in the area ? or Grouse?

If anyone has any recommendations as i dont know the area at all, please let me know or PM me any help is appreciated
