My season does not open until the 19th. I will head up that weekend to get the camp ready. I couldn't get Monday off work last year, planned on coming up to camp that night after work, but my cousin tagged a bull in the morning. Guys were coming home Wednesday so I didn't even go up, just met up with them for the butchering. Need less to say, I am chomping at the bit to get up there. Hope everyone has a fun and safe hunt.
Mikepal - really cool moose fight vid

Leaving Thursday for 13 West of Thunder Bay. Small group of us (family only) go up every year. looking forward to it, and really hope that we get one this this year, despite only have Bull tag. Two years in a row we haven't gotten anything. Last year we saw a bull, but at distance, and turned into the bush before we could get a shot and saw a calf, in the no hunt zone across from us.
Good luck everyone.

Tags are nice to have because it is hard to hunt only calves, but I am sure if you are with a good group of guys your week in camp will be a lot of good laughs and stories.
