Home from the moose hunt, WMU 54. My Uncle got a bull on the Tuesday morning. Butchered it up today. A very fun and memorable week.

Got home yesterday. Our group got one calf, the only one spotted all week. A number of cows and bulls presented themselves, but for the lack of tags remained unscathed. I only had a brief cow sighting myself. Good time though.

The camps next to us did pretty well, too.
Was it ever cold on Monday, though!

I came home early on Thursday for a funeral and some of the guy's shifts started on Friday. We saw one Monster Bull (no tag) on Tuesday and two Cows (no tag) with two calves on Wednesday PM but couldn't get a shot at either one without risking hitting a Cow. By the time they finally split up,they were across the Park border. I'll be going back next week for a Duck hunt and Deer starts next Monday. The weather is supposed to be warmish, but,we'll see. There were still lots of leaves on the trees. Hopefully, they're all down by next week.
