I've had good luck with the THERMOS work series. I do however always preheat my thermos and my tea is always hot, even hours later.

I do the same, even with a low quality thermos I find rinsing with really hot water before makes a huge difference.

I've been using a STANLEY thermos for years, tried a few before and this seems to work the best for me. They are expensive for what I think a thermos should cost, but if you go down to the states they are cheap even with the dollar. I left mine in my ice hut over night last winter with temps around -25 all night, came back to find a warm tea in the morning still.

Get yourself a thermos carrier and wear it to keep you both warm:

Haven't tried these myself but came highly recommended on another site and get great reviews. Guy uses it ice fishing all the time as well. After 4 years still work and look like new.

Hi Chris: I have 2 stanley's. A large and a medium size. I seem to use the medium size (holds a large timmies) the most. They seem to work pretty well. They are durable. Ive dropped mine numerous times and a few dents don't seem to bother them.

Yep green s/s stanleys. Pre-heat and they will keep coffee hot even while ice fishing. Just crack the lid and pour. Keeps it a lot warmer than removing the lid.

Had a SS Stanley for years. Then one day it quit working so I got in touch with them. Even though my model was obsolete THEY suggested that they replace it, and they did, for free.......

I also use the Stanley. Great thermos.
