    Are you serious.

Reminds me once I had a Garmin trash breaker handheld and couple collars for sale once with 1 mile range. Used it on my foxhounds, would lay them right out if they trashed on deer. Had a guy supposed to meet me to buy it, called me a few minutes before meeting time and he decided he wanted the new model with 2 mile range because his SCHNAUZERS get out of the yard and go to the neighbours!!!! LMAO

69firebird, you obviously do not know about versatile hunting dogs and the drive they have. This is no labradoodle.

What do you get if you cross a cocker spaniel, a poodle and a rooster?

    A COCKERPOODLEDOO!!!

JK no offense to your dog. I do know what a pudelpointer is but sounds like you just need it to come back to you when you want. Are they not used for pointing birds or retrieving. Whys it taking off. Spend $800 US on a system, but i think there are better solutions starting with obedience.

Lion country supply is a good place I prefer the Garmin Astro.
I use mine all the time on my PP and EP, real handy when they are on point in the woods.

Keep in mind US Garmin dealers won't ship Astros and Alphas out of the USA if they don't know you. But they will ship to a US post box or relative in the US. And the same goes for any repairs in the future you need a Garmin dealer that will deal with you, cause you will have to ship it to them for repairs then they send it to Garmin then back to you.
