    North wind always been the best for us, e.g. the doe, fawn and buck I saw last night while on my bow stand around 5:20pm, so I moved my week off to the second week of the season. As mentioned previously, they move a lot more during the day when it's cold.

    I will be hunting first week in 82a but will be up to 53a/50 for the second as it s allway been better latter up there for me

    i suppose hanging the deer for a few days wont be an option. straight to the butcher with this weather.

    Not true cold weather u can hang them 5 to 7 day warm the process is just faster but out of the sun 1 to 3 day is find amazing how munch colder shielded place work

    Many hanging poles are located for the view instead of the aging effect on the meat. If you can see the hunt results as soon as you swing in the driveway, then you will probably have to get the meat to the butcher quickly.....If the deer are hanging in the shade in a clump of evergreen then you will have more time....

    If I'm fortunate enough to get my buck, it'll be going straight into the garage for processing. Cutting table is all ready.

    Skin em hot, hang em where's it's dark. Get em in a cooler after 36 hrs if it's + 18.

    i shot a buck Saturday night with the bow, gutted skinned n washed hot, hangin In basement of barn it will be in a cooler tomorrow and I'll cut it Friday.
