There lots of guys done by wknd n lots guys avoid them too but deer run to them if pushed out other areas so try n see

No not SOL. those lands, just a suggestion depends how far you really wanna go. But if you can look them up online, get a layout, anything hard to access, swampy low and wet etc, go where not many others will or want to go. When i hunt public land , its what i do. I actually like the swamps, you might want to try that if going it alone on public or other accessable lands.

and as mentioned, deer will go to these areas, so if pushed under pressure, increases likelihood one comes to you

Just been doing more online scouting so far. Public land stuff. I might try it again next year. I'm going up north for deer the week after, so I might take the time to make sure I'm ready for that.
