Permanent Ground Blind....
Hi all,
I want to build a permanent ground blind before the snow fly for turkey and deer hunting.
I shot 5 turkeys and a two deer at that spot, so it's a good one.
I have all the wood (hemlock) material for free, beams, board and so on.
Is anyone built one? Any trick or advises to share with me?
Thanks

Shoot all porcupines fist because they will chew your blind up. If your in a good spot I wood try and keep it as natural as possible and just as big as you need it. All depends if you are shooting bow/gun or crossbow this all matters in design.

I was kind of hoping porcupine are like horse, does like hemlock.
Thanks for the warning though, forgot about them.

A simple lean-to will suffice. I have two in different areas that I use according to the weather for Coyote and Deer sits. They don't need to be elaborate, just enough to keep you somewhat dry when it rains and warmish when the snow and wind kicks up. YouTube is an excellent source for ideas. That's where I got my ideas. Good luck.
