    Default how do you get your deer to come to you?

    so guys, me and my brother are gonna go hunting deer for our first time hopefully tonight, but im wondering how you get your deer to come to you? what kind of calls if any are you using? rattling? or???

    In general you'll want to be sitting in a spot where you're expecting the deer to go by within 50 yards or so.
    However if you have a deer hung up then you have a variety of options: buck grunt, doe bleat, and perhaps rattling.
    Lots of videos available online with tons of good info on how to call and when to call.

    What are you hunting with? Gun or bow? Controlled hunt on right now so just be mindful you are legal

    Easy, attach a carrot on a string at the end of a stick. Works every time.....

    just make sure bow is legal in the wmu you are in. many are closed this week for bow.
    as for attracting deer if the carrots dont work try deer cane that outta bring em right in,

    Sit very still and make a noise like an apple

    I've never had much luck with rattling, can't confirm if it helps or not.

    Had better luck with 'Doe in Heat' flip cans. I have seen them work to get a Bucks interest.

    I let a first time deer hunter hunt the farm beside me.
