Default what gun do you use??

I am starting to put together my shortlist of guns for when I upgrade from my wolf.I want to do it well before next season so I have plenty of time to get used to it and dial it in.
    So far im looking at
    rem 700 ultimate
    traditions pursuit and vortex
    LHR redemption
    Cva accura.

The only real issue I have with the wolf is the safety, or lack of one. Otherwise its easy to carry and works flawlessly. I also would like a gun with better corrosion resistance. Does any one shoot any of these. Or something maybe I have over looked? Always better to get some input from the people hunting with them.

    Savage 10ML also.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Cool I hadn,t even looked at the savage. I will be doing that right now lol. The T.C,s are nice but too spendy for me.

Same here they are the best, I doubt that you will find one easily and if you do be prepared to pay a lot for it .

yes I just realized they are no longer being made. I really like the rem 700 ult. But it also is pretty pricey. I have some guns to get rid of as Im downsizing. It will depend a lot on how much I can get for them. For now though I am just looking at the options and want to get as much info as I can cause I plan to keep it for a very long time.

My wife and I both have TC Omegas. With 250 gr Shockwaves, they will put every shot into a 1.5"circle at 100 yds. You pull the trigger and the deer falls down, every time. I think they cost us about $340. I've never seen any sense , or need, in upgrading, or spending more money on a ML. I'd rather use the money to upgrade a scope on a rifle. If I didn't already own one, my first look would be either a TC Strike (brand new), or a cheap TC Triumph.

Ya i guess I was thinking of the high end TC being expensive, I actually had forgotten about their other models. I do agree though There is not need to drop a ton of money on one.

I love my TC Encore. Very accurate with 250gr Shockwaves.
Really nice fibre optic iron sights.
I love the stocks, the pistol grip feels great and fits me real nice.

Ya they do make some nice guns.I just noticed though. The "strike " model is the same gun as the lhr redemption. Not sure whats up with that. There would be an advantage to TC in that the distributor for them is 5 minutes away from me if there was ever a problem.
