Good show, Elly. So the woodcock retrieve isn't an issue.

Hunted a new bush along the Thames River near Thamesville. It was totally unexpected to what I would find and was given permission to hunt this new spot. I really didn't think I would flush anything but this spot hasn't been hunted in many years. Going again tomorrow hopefully a few more still kicking around. After the first retrieve Elly put it into overdrive looking for more, kinda comical to watch. My son is coming with me tomorrow and is going to take some footage with his ipad. I will post it if we capture some of it .

Think the main flight is done folks? Halloween hunt north of London last week we had our best day yet. 12 for 25. lots of double flushes which made it really challenging! Hope to get out again before our pelee trip next week.

Four flushed today, probably only three birds. Pretty slow with some good spots coming up empty.
