The "big box" stores aren't ther only game in town. There's many smaller privately owned shops spread throughtout the southern part of the province like Gagnon's in Oshawa,Saugeen Shafts and AccuracyPlus in Peterborough,Epps in Orillia among many others. I like shopping at these smaller stores. Their prices are competitive, they service what they sell and they back their products. I think it's always better to back up the local folks.

I agree Trimmer. I have never spent a dime in BP or Cabelas as I prefer to support the small jobbers such as Al Simmons , Fishing world, Shooters choice ,Epps and LeBaron . Other than a Richard cranium or 2 at the LeBaron gun room I have received excellent customer service at the above locations .

I hope this doesn't happen. I like both stores, but think Cabelas has slightly better gear (clothing mostly).

i hope it don't happen I love cabelas brand gear and I would guess bps would just cheapen the quality on stuff like they do with their redhead brand. Just my opinion.
I agree.
