The older pic he has an extra point on the left side, it's missing four years later. I dunno that much about antlers, but I thought they grew old points back each year and added more with age.
Thats what I'm thinking but its really close

You may try-if it is not late(if you make a mount, it is not)to take a picture of the mount at an exact same head posture as on the picture of your trail camera-then compare.
It may be the same buck(first picture like 2.5 years old-this one 6.5 years old)yet the antlers "could-should"have a bigger mass(maybe..?)
Maybe offspring of the first one?
Nevertheless-great bucks.Congratulation.

I am having it shoulder mounted so when I get it back I will definitely take that advice. Thanks for the tip

Great buck man!
I would agree with the rest of the boys and say no, its not the same tho.
Although antler size is not always the best indicator to age a buck, i would say thats probably a 3.5 to 4.5 year old deer in the 2011 pic. That would make your buck 7.5 to 8.5 when you killed it. Have you checked the lower jaw? If it is the same buck, his teeth would be just about worn right down to the gums.
Also, when bucks reach an age class of 7,8, 9 years, sometimes you will start to see their racks start to regress a little bit. Occasionally they lose some of their points, but increase in mass a little bit.
Anyways, congrats. Nice buck
The deer are here, when I'm not near
