Good to hear of someone taking advantage of the mid day hunt and being successful. It's a great time of the day to be in the bush, while everyone else is back at camp having lunch and a nap

Thanks Mike! I'm definitely making a point of trying more mid-afternoon hunts in the years to come. It makes perfect sense for deer to be up and moving around while the woods are quiet during midday, and the rut just increases the activity. I got a chance to read about your afternoon buck as well, congrats!
