    Bucks on the move, all over the roadways now, multiple sightings. Be careful on your drive during peak hours.

    Over 30 deer were hit on the roads since Nov 1 in Bruce county.

    Yeah I took a roadkill before the gun hunt. The OPP officer informed me the deer are moving because of the hunters. I mentioned rut and normal evening/dawn movement. He said "No it's the hunters moving them around". I didn't need an argument but I hope he doesn't deal with a lot of deerkills. Last thing we need is more bad publicity.

    This is a pretty common misconception among people who don't hunt. You just need to see a Buck running across the road with his nose glued to the scent of a Doe, to know the rut is the major reason for deer movement.

    I just barely stopped in time as 3 does went running out in front of my car last night.
